HOW TO FREEZE & DEFROST

You can freeze your sourdough either whole or cut into slices in a freezer bag. Remove as much of the air as possible or wrap in baking paper to protect from freezer burn. 

IF FROZEN WHOLE

Remove from the freezer and let it completely thaw at room temperature.

When you're ready to eat your bread, warm your oven to 200 degrees.
Place in the oven for 5-10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and cool on a rack. And enjoy just as if it were freshly baked!

IF FROZEN IN SLICES

Simply take a slice straight from the freezer and defrost at room temperature or straight into the toaster. You might need to pop it down a couple of times for your desired toastiness!
